Special Envoy to Monitor and Combat Anti-Semitism Ira Forman will
travel May 17-23 to Rabat, Casablanca, and Marrakesh to highlight best
practices for protecting religious pluralism.
Morocco has long recognized the contributions of religious
minorities, including its Jewish community, as an important part of its
heritage. To that end, Special Envoy Forman will meet with government
officials, Jewish and other religious leaders, and students and
academics to gain a broader understanding of the concerns of the
Moroccan Jewish community and discuss best practices in educating about
and combating anti-Semitism.
