Under Secretary of State for Civilian Security, Democracy, and Human Rights Sarah Sewall is on travel to Egypt, February 7–10.
Under Secretary Sewall will meet with government officials and civil 
society representatives to discuss countering violent extremism, 
transparency, governance, and human rights issues including gender-based
 violence. She will also deliver a public lecture, “The Role of Women in
 Overcoming Egypt’s Economic and Security Challenges in the 21st 
Century.”
